Directed by Theresa A. Carson.

As the play opens, Duchess Fredrica has usurped the title and throne of her elder brother Duke Senior who takes up residence in the Forest of Arden with his loyal band of followers, leaving his daughter, Rosalind, at the court. They are accompanied by Touchstone the clown. Once they've all been banished to the forest they discover their freedoms away from the court, and romance abounds. Orlando winds up in the company of Duke Senior's men, pining for his lost Rosalind, and leaves a path of tree carvings which keep Ganymede and Celia hot on his trial. Whilst in the forest and in disguise, Rosalind tries her hand a matchmaking with Phebe and Silvius, only to end up the object of Phebe's affection. Touchstone, meanwhile, has taken interest in a country girl named Audrey adding the the multiple developing passions. Gentle Bianca has no shortage of admirers in Padua. In fact, three men are suing for her hand in marriage. However, Bianca's father, Baptista, Decrees that she may not marry until her beautiful, but shrewish sister, Katherina, is betrothed. Bianca's three suitors--Lucentio, Hortensio, and Gremio--then persuade Petruchio, a rough-hewn gentleman of Verona who is seeking his fortune, to woo the sharp-tongued Katherina. They pledge to help pay the cost of courting her. There's an added incentive for Petruchio: Katherina has a handsome dowry. So he vows to woo her in spite of her spitfire temperament.
