Fort Lewis College Theatre Faculty & Staff
Kathryn is currently a professor of Theatre, Co-coordinator of Humanities, and professor of Gender and Women’s Studies. She received a Ph.D. in Theatre from the University of Colorado, Boulder, a M.S. in Dance from James Madison University; and a B.A. in Dramatic Arts & Dance from Mary Washington College. She came to Fort Lewis College in January of 1994, after holding administrative and teaching positions at Salisbury University; The University of Colorado, Boulder; Metro State, Denver; University of Virginia; and James Madison University. Her areas of specialization include Asian Theatre, Performance Art, Theatre History and Theory, Gender Studies, and Dance.
Ginny received her BFA in Theatre Education from the University of Texas at Austin, an MFA in Directing from the University of Houston, and a multidisciplinary Ph.D. in Music, Art, and Theatre with specializations in Theatre Management and Acting/Directing from Texas Tech University. She has taught theatre at all levels, from pre-school through college. Ginny has also worked for a number of professional theatre groups including: the Alley Theatre, Stages, Main Street Theatre and Bayou Theatre in Houston, TX; Theatre Three in Dallas, TX; and the Diamond Circle Melodrama, Durango Shakespeare Festival, and Early Stages Productions, LLC in Durango.
Nathan received his BA in Theatre Design and Chemistry and his MFA in Theatre from the University of Hawaii - Manoa. He taught at Castleton State College, VT, Arizona State University, and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. His area of expertise is Theatrical Design and Technology and he has experience in Japanese Kabuki Theatre as well as other world theatre.
![]() Anne Berg Pattillo Anne received her Master in Dance from the University of New Mexico. While in pursuit of her choreography degree, Anne enjoyed studying Spanish dance, Kineseology and Movement Analysis. She performed with the Bill Evans Dance Company and other local contemporary and belly dance companies. Since returning to southwest Colorado Anne has been teaching several forms of dance and movement throughout the region, including modern dance, ballet, hip hop, belly dance, movement fundamentals, Pilates, and yoga. She is the director and choreographer of local oriental dance performance group, Troupe Verde, and performs Polynesian dance regionally with Halau Hula O’ Anelalani.
Felicia became acquainted with the Theatre Department when she was cast as a member of the Skins ensemble that performed at La Mama ETC in New York City in 2005. Felicia earned her BFA in Theatre Arts at NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing, performing in Danton’s Death and Assimil under director Anne Bogart and subsequently in Bogart’s production of Babel in Berlin in commemoration of that city’s founding. In her native Los Angeles, Felicia performed in numerous television series while earning her MFA in directing from the American Film Institute, where she directed her award winning short film, Desert Snow. At home in Pagosa Springs, Felicia enjoys substitute teaching English and Drama in the high school and leads acting workshops for teenagers.
![]() Frances Rosser Taylor Frances brings over twenty years of experience in choreography, dance instruction, and dance costume design and construction to the Fort Lewis College Theatre. She received the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Boston Conservatory and the Master of Education from Keene State College. Her areas of expertise include Ballet and Dance Education and Musical Theatre. She has performed with numerous dance companies including Boston Dance Theater, Ballet Artes Dance Ensemble, Tucson Civic Ballet, and is currently a director and instructor at Durango Ballet Ensemble.
![]() Scott Kadera Scott works part-time producing print media, web site design and development, and managing the Theatre office. He has a BS in Communications from Towson University, Towson, MD. In addition he runs his own web site design firm, Kadera.com Web Design, from his home. He has been designing and developing web sites for over seven years. Prior to that he was a graphic artist for a model train company. Some of his favorite accomplishments include biking a century ride, completing a rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon, and reaching the summit of a number of Colorado peaks. |
