Theatre Auditions

Students are not required to audition to become a Theatre major but are required to audition for individual productions. Auditions typically take place from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM on the first Thursday and Friday of the Fall and Winter terms. Auditions are open to everyone. This includes students, faculty, staff and the general public. Serious contenders should prepare a 1 - 1.5 minute monologue, however cold readings are available.

Auditions are open to everyone, including all Fort Lewis College students, faculty, staff, and the general public. We recommend you check the Call Board in the Theatre Building or contact the Theatre Department for the exact date, time and location of the next auditions. "Call backs" are usually held on the weekend directly following the auditions.
